Weird hardly any coverage on #PFLmadrid from the people complaining about the UFC.

@MMAdamMartin I think it's more there just isn't a good fight for Allen. Just glancing at the rankings quickly he's not getting a title shot, he's fought #2, #3, #7, #8 in fights that don't need rematches. So that leaves DDP, Izzy and Caio as opponents. And only Caio of those seems right.

Just a very odd booking. I guess everyone was ducking Allen.

@BenTheBaneDavis Yeah I'd agree with that. Beating him doesn't tell us much if anything. I guess if he just gets nuked that's somewhat revealing cause he's not physically fragile but that's about it. Plus he's Petroski who is a litmus test fighter. So double wtf we doing lol.

@Meodread I think an additional layer is that he is not even a great test of quality for debutants or others on the roster Like if he was a dude who is a good unranked litmus test, and had a very staggered record, I could tolerate it sure. But Brundage genuinely adds nothing

Cody Brundage still on the UFC roster and booking fights is emblematic of everything wrong with modern UFC matchmaking 5-8-1 and on a 4-fight winless streak…one win since July 2023…like why is he still here

@Smittybets327 @BenTheBaneDavis Yeah but they cut people. Also this doesn't actually work. The UFC standard contract length would have already ended. They at some point during this losing skid did resign him OR a bottom barrell middleweight got an unprecedented contract. The latter seems.....unlikely.

@BenTheBaneDavis He's a afraid of what quitting would mean but he doesn't want to actually fight. And it feels bad to watch that. He was plenty competitive about Johnson while also looking like he had no desire to be in there.

@BenTheBaneDavis It's not even the record. It's not the losing streak. It's for the last 2 fights in their entirety nothing about Brundrage suggest he wants to fight or has any idea how to actually win in the UFC anymore. He's a guy who doesn't want to quite fighting because its been his life.

@littlespoonman @JackSlackMMA Is it? GM3 is a better fighter sure but the stylistic matchup is really not that challenging. GM3 gasses now and is fragile. Just out wait him.

@138MMA I think Silva still has the higher ceiling BUT has proven to be far less likely to get there because hes insane.

I know Jean Silva beat him on DWCS, but I think Kevin Vallejos has the higher ceiling. Every day that passes makes me more confident that Vallejos would win that rematch.

Alright well the caution was not needed. Vallejos steamrolls Emmett. Now is Emmett who is 41 just you know ready to head on down the road or is Vallejos scary AF? I'm inclined to go with a bit of both. #UFCVegas114

I am taking Vallejos because he looks very promising and Emmett hasn't look great lately. However, I will say nothing about Vallejos avoids the parts of Emmett's game that might still be entirely functional. So there could be a serious speed bump here. #UFCVegas114

@lthomasnews Physical limits are for sure there but Lemos is a pretty unique set of physical variables that aren't present in the rest of the division. Now granted the idea she's going to win a belt is silly.

Robertson wins it down the stretch with a more proactive effort. She struggled at times, but got the job done. Her win streak is no B.S. at all. This fight did underscore some athletic limits in Robertson, tho.

29-28 Robertson. But contrary to the commentary's idea she's getting a lot better....I dunno it seems like she just needs something she can outwrestle and that's always been the case. Not really any new aspects. #UFCVegas114

19-19 I suppose. But Roberston left a lot to be desired with all that top control and Lemos just swinging to the bell might actually provide a reason for 20-18. #UFCVegas114

Taking Robertson, Lemos seems to be fading. But it's a dangerous matchup because Lemos is still incredibly strong and still hits hard. Robertson is still takedown reliant and vulnerable as a striker. We'll see if she gets to the next level. #UFCVegas114

29-28 Delgado. Fili finished strong but he was behind on volume heavily and probably also on quality. Let's see what the judges think. #UFCVegas114

Taking Delgado but I do have to stress that he reminds me of Carlos Condit and that could be causing some nostalgic aspects. But he's super violent and I do think Fili is falling off a bit, not washed, still capable but he's been surprised a bit in recent fights. #UFCVegas114
