My people, I’m shaken. Just learnt that Justus Juma, an engineer allegedly took his own life after KRA slapped him with a 300 million shilling tax bill and constant threats. 💔 A man pushed to the edge, by a system that forgot he was human. KRA today has turned taxation into intimidation. They freeze accounts without warning, send agency letters, special table threats, and harass Kenyans endlessly. Some even take bribes from kenyans. Even those owed by the same government are treated like criminals. This is not governance, it’s cruelty. And it’s breaking people silently. Depression, shame, hopelessness while those in power pretend everything is fine & loot the same taxes. My people, this must stop. No Kenyan should fear the taxman more than they fear hunger. We must fix KRA, make it humane, accountable, and just even if it means protesting at those KRA shops Rest in peace, Justus Juma. Your pain will not be in vain.
