When Otto Stenberg was drafted in 2023, his brothers Ivar and Knut were by his side supporting him. Tonight they're back at the #NHLDraft for Ivar, with Otto and Knut right by his side.

You’re put in charge of the #STLBlues. Red Wings call and ask for your best offer for Dylan Larkin. What do you offer?

Yesterday the question that fascinated me was which WR(s) Miami would pick. They did get two who were very much on my radar. Today what fascinates me is which QB the Dolphins will pick. Jalon Daniels, Taylen Green, Cole Payton, Cade Klubnik, and Joe Fagnano on my radar. Wouldn't be surprised by Mark Gronowski either.

First off Steve Ott has this team playing with 🔥…secondly Quinton Burns has 92 pims in 31 games and is firmly planted on the #stlblues radar. How soon remains to be seen, but there is growing belief he can help the team in the near future. @ThunderbirdsAHL

Dolphins find their quarterback of the present and future with Malik Willis.. Three year, 67 M deal has 45 M guaranteed, as Ian reported... As we've noted, Jon Eric Sullivan thought very highly of Willis after watching him for 2 years in Green Bay. Now we know how highly.

With the deadline a little over two hours away, I'm thinking back to this comment from GM Doug Armstrong in December. Army: “We’re not selling $0.50 cents on the dollar out of anger. We’re not considering trading players less than the value we think that they’re worth ... I need (other teams) to think that (our players are) better than they are and (other teams) want me to think they’re worse than I think they are -- and that might never happen.” #stlblues

I keep hearing that I was too harsh this morning on commenters who hate the Oli extension. But my question would be this: If it's virtually universally agreed upon that the waning Mozeliak years saw the Cardinals org fall behind in numerous areas to lead to the club's downfall in the standings--areas that Bloom was brought in to specifically address from the POBO seat--why is it that you're so content to assign Oli's value strictly to his win-loss record and nothing else? During this stretch where we all openly acknowledge there were a lot of other things happening with the Cardinals under Mo that fell way behind to cause the less competitive seasons? Criticize and critique the manager, absolutely. That's part of the fun. But what I kept challenging people to do is give me something other than 'he hasn't won enough' as your reasoning, because I think that surface level evaluation misses a lot of what's going on. If that makes me a hater or a stooge for the organization, okie dokie gang.

Yeah. At some point. That's true. But if you're frustrated with Mo for letting it devolve, it's not reasonable to say Oli should've been able to overcome that on his own. If we admit the rosters haven't been enough then it's hard to definitively state Oli was the problem. The point of results will have to wait until they fix it. Which I would argue shouldn't take long. But 2026 isn't going to be a winning year, not expected anyway. And no manager should be judged strictly on win total in that scenario.
