@lucyshow11 @Deplorable_Rick Absolutely does me too. I always sang it to my son. He picked it for our mother son dance at his wedding.

@gracieback2 I actually did. My son waited until he was married and him and his wife were financially stable. I was 52 when my grandson was born. My daughter is now due end of June. I made my dad a grandfather at 37. Looking back, that was young.

“My immigrant parents are in a hospital in LA — and neither of them speaks English.” There was no interpreter on staff, so the doctors asked her to translate. “This is Los Angeles. DONT tell my parents to learn English — that’s your problem, not ours.”

@DaveHawkins_X I’m all about what works. There are so many natural remedies out there. If that works for you, that is wonderful. I’m going to research the micro dosing. Very interesting.

@jrb1972 I’ve found that microdosing psilocybin significantly helped my journey with anxiety and depression. Under the guidance of @ HealWithFungi here on X , I’ve also learned how it supports conditions like PTSD, ADHD, and OCD. Also helps to improve concentration, focus and creativity.

I just watched a cooking video where a woman was frying link sausages in a pan filled with oil. Instead of draining the grease or lowering the heat… she started opening tampons and dropping them into the pan to soak up the excess oil. And honestly, you could tell she thought she had discovered a genius little kitchen hack. No splatter. No strainer. Just “absorb and move on.” I understand wanting to cut down on grease and keep things simple… but there has to be a line somewhere before we turn breakfast into a hygiene aisle experiment. At what point do we admit not every “life hack” needs to be tried and is this the wildest cooking shortcut you’ve ever seen?

Grown man clocks a little girl in the face, gives her a nasty black eye. Dad shows up and turns the guy into modern art on the pavement. Society: "Omg that's illegal We must let the courts handle it fairly!" Courts: Probably a stern talking-to and community service. Real talk—when the system's too busy protecting the puncher, what's a father supposed to do? Stand there and clap? What do you think? Right move or "two wrongs don't make a right"? No. It’s called being a nurse. Yes, in a perfect world, everyone would understand English. However I would be a horrible nurse if I didn’t see each person as an individual in need. You have to find ways to care for and communicate with each person and understand their needs. That is part of the job.
