Morning cards peeps! Was up a tad early this morning as the little one decided to choose violence, he’s cute though so we’ll forgive him ❤️ @BrighamFellows is so supportive for parents in training so my wife (the most amazing woman/mother) and I know they got us if things come up

Reflection from the wards: When a patient is hospitalized and concerned about an issue, it kills me to hear “well this isn’t an inpatient problem.” Patients don’t dichotomize by inpt and outpt. We can’t fix everything, but patients deserve a solid path forwards at the very least

This is great I’ve wondered why I haven’t seen ANY colchicine in practice yet given LoDoCo2 and COLCOT, and will be interesting to hear some expert insight on this!

The emotional roller coaster of telling your 30 year old heart failure patient in shock that he should start transplant evaluation was so difficult but also so rewarding to be there for him and his family in such a dark time, I love this job 🙏🏻
