@su_rronquillo This is heartbreaking, we need to continue to make a change here in America. All of these stories are just horrible

@AshleymSusw I love this idea. For so long people have stood quiet about mental health and finally now we can break that stigma and educate children. #Susocialwork

Mental health being added to school curriculums is vital.!! Learning about what it is, how to handle it and what to do in times of crisis could be a monumental change for school age children. I support this effort.! #SUSocialWork

We believe that learning about mental health is just as important as any other subject. That’s why, in honor of Mental Health Awareness Month next month, we’re launching the #MentalHealth101 campaign. 👏

This is so disappointing. 9 out of 50 states ban discriminating over a black women’s hair. Let me say that again 9/50! It is ridiculous that hair is causing such a problem. That is why the crown act came into place in the first place. We have to do better! #SUsocialwork
AJ+@ajplus

Oregon’s House passed a bill to ban discrimination against hairstyles associated with race, like braids and locs. It still needs a Senate vote. Black women are 1.5X more likely to be sent home from work because of their hair. Only 9 states ban such discrimination.

@ArianaRuetten Social media definitely plays a large role in this. Young women see on social media what they believe they should look like when half the time the pictures are photoshopped. #susocialwork

@socialworktutor Trust is everything. We can't expect people to want to accept change if they don't feel comfortable with their social worker. #Susocialwork

Make sure to get your vaccination!!! #Susocialwork
CDC@CDCgov

#COVID19 vaccines are a safe way to build protection. As of April 19, more than 132.3 million people in the United States had received at least one dose of COVID-19 vaccine. Of those, more than 85.3 million are fully vaccinated. More: bit.ly/CDT_vaccine.

@su_rronquillo It is unbelievable that these are the things that the majority of the elderly need and it is not even covered. What is the point of medicare if they can not receive some of the most important care for them? #SUsocialwork
