Perhaps my favorite fun fact about this album is the seemingly random *NSYNC shout out on the outro... Turns out *NSYNC were huge Dilla fans & tried to work with him on multiple occasions — but he never picked up their calls when they came to Michigan 😂

I’ve always said this was one of Master P’s savviest moves — shouting out smaller markets and towns all over the country that were never acknowledged in rap songs. This is part of the reason he had such a stronghold in places like Kentucky, Indiana, Missouri, Ohio, Arkansas etc

Here's an opinion that will be unpopular: the clipse album is okay. It's not great. It's not bad. It's got some bangers and its got some meh joints as well. I hate to say it, cause I love his beats, but Pharrell was the weakest link. The singles were the best song imo.

@robpursey @dj_swerve That’s the thing with so much of his catalog — it almost improves over time. It holds up so well. I was initially (somewhat) disappointed in this album when it dropped as well. But now? Personal classic

for some reason @dj_swerve and myself have been obsessing over Erick Sermon ‘No Pressure’ recently - I remember at the time being a little disappointed - I can’t even imagine that now - just pure funk from front to back 🔥
