I find it interesting that organizations continue to download mental health/wellness to the individual & proposing very surface level actions rather than identifying all the ways they contribute to the issue... show me a list of actions YOU will take to support employee wellness

6,509 children killed in residential schools.
6,509 children whose parents didn't know where they were, who these schools lied to so they couldn't get closure.
6,509 children that could have grown into 6,509 adults and helped our communities rebuild our languages and cultures.

This entire section of the front matter to the grade nine math curriculum appears to have been removed. Why? Because some far right politicians got upset. Why are they driving #OntEd curriculum? YOU should care about this deletion, even if you don’t teach math.

WHERE and WHO we get mathematical knowledge from, shapes the content of the math being taught. The math traditionally taught in US schools is sourced primarily from the contributions of White European Men.
