@McCurdy1987 I was there for the glory days, though just a kid (17 in 90). Sharing this run with my son 17 and daughter 21. And appreciating it so much more.

@AzorcanGlobal I was 10 and actually attended my first NHL game, Game 1 of the '83 final in Edmonton. Devastated that our offensive juggernaut failed to score. Elated the following year. Took my son 16y.o son to Game 1 Watch party last year. Another shutout. Destiny? 84=25?

I was 14 when the #Oilers lost to the #NYI in 1983 and the #LetsGoOilers  won the cup in the rematch the following year. My son was 14 last year when the Oilers lost to the #Panthers I hope he gets the same outcome in the rematch. The Oilers beat the Isles in 5.

@McCurdy1987 I've been thinking a lot through this run of the video of an interview with your dad when he spoke about the ups and downs of following this team on this journey towards contention. But then urging us all to remember to savour and enjoy the ride.
