Here are two interesting notes from the Eagles 2026 regular season schedule: - Eagles will have back-to-back home games three times (Week 6 & 7, Week 9 & 11 and Week 15 & 16) after not having a single stretch of back-to-back home games last season. - Following their trip to London in Week 5 against the Jaguars, the Eagles won’t have to travel on a plane again until Week 12 against the Cowboys.

Man, this stinks. I don’t think people realize just how savvy Rob was when it came to the business of people, specifically leading people. Never saw a coach publicly sacrifice himself more to protect his players, in an attempt to handle things professionally and privately.

Pulled off to the side of the road. First off, really bummed about Topper. A great dude, a great baseball man and would have loved a World Series to top off a great career. Second, I just don’t think Mattingly wants that job. Wouldn’t be surprised if this is a short-term fix while they interview Cora.

Rob Thomson never missed the playoffs, won the NL East in 2 of his 3 full seasons, and won an NL Pennant. His time here should NEVER be looked at as a failure. But clearly a change needed to happen with this Phillies team. It was time.

On Rob Thomson (just my opinion) I think the #Phillies could see where this thing is at after 40 games. They have three series to turn this thing around. 7-3 or 8-2 they would have to go to change the season. This isn’t on the manager. The offense and starting pitching are amongst the bottom five in baseball. Both units have to step up.

if the Phillies make a move, I think it would be to let Rob Thomson go. HOWEVER if I were them I would strongly consider firing Dave Dombrowski as well/instead.
