LPFFA L142 members attended the IAFF Fallen Fire Fighter Memorial in Colorado Springs. This year, we honored Captain Don Varey as his name was added to the wall.

On September 11, 2025, eleven Central Region (Ontario) RCMP members, along with first responder agencies, joined the London Professional Fire Fighters Association (LPFFA) at the London Fire Department Memorial Headquarters to pay tribute to the victims and heroes of 9/11. The ceremony also honoured 47 London firefighters who have lost their lives in the line of duty over the years. Their courage and sacrifice will never be forgotten. Thank you to all members who attended. Your presence is a powerful reminder of our continued support for our first responder partners and our shared commitment to honouring those who serve selflessly.

Today, we honor all our members who gave their lives serving the citizens of London. President Timlick presented the Pierce Medal to the families of Capt. Brent Fernie and Capt. Don Varey. Thank you to everyone who joined us in remembrance, and LPS for the great tribute video.
