@whittyphoto @FrederictonReal The house had been renovated in the 70’s and 80’s on the interior and there was not much that could be saved. In order for the house to last another 150 years the floor systems need be restructured which was completely done.

@thomjeff I helped design that zinc tile roof 17 years ago with Fellows & Company Architects. It's an exact replica of the 1847 roof, which took a lot of research and investigation right down to finding original nail holes and metal edge marks in the old roof boards. Thanks for noticing.

@TheFwordNB @PhillCurley They ( the department of education and teachers) are doing a great job of getting kids interested in the trades and the opportunities that exist. It will take time to get them trained and through the apprenticeship program though. 2of2

@TheFwordNB @PhillCurley I think there is a direct correlation between the lack of trades people and shop classes being removed from schools in the late 90’s and the streaming of kids to university. The department of education is doing a great job with their essential skills program in the schools. 1of2
