Active Mets catchers, which will seemingly be their duo for almost two more months, have a combined OPS just over .500. They can do better.

The cumulative catcher OPS across the league is .666. There are like, six good catchers across the league. An elite defender with a pool noodle at the plate is as good as you’re going to get for a third string catcher.
