I’m all for all of that and deployment at high risk stations is a great approach. That all makes sense but there is still plenty of room for improvement is my point.
I saw a family get threatened today at a high risk station and then the homeless person continued to threaten the rest of train. No one should have that as part of their daily commute that they pay for.
Being trapped on a train with a mentally ill person, yelling and threatening people, is a recipe for disaster and something that grows extremely tiring.
That needs to be a focus. There’s a big difference between law abiding citizens needing a helping hand, which I’m all for, and a mentally ill, drug addict who isn’t able to follow the law or act in a civil way.
