The lack of respect for women at grassroots is outstandingly bad suggesting they should be able to put up with fellas breaking their legs because it’s only “kicking a ball about on a Sunday”. Ruffell’s smug agreement is embarrassing. For coaches: A tiny 🧵 on improving training. One of the best habits you can have to get better at training is an "After Action Review" or a "Hot Debrief"... As soon as the session ends a five minute huddle with fellow coaches to ask discuss...

I've always sucked at breakfast when working. Looking for good ideas for something that is healthy, nice, doesn't need to be hot.

Another year of being sat for 6 hours on a hard stool being read to from a PowerPoint that was too small to actually read with far too much text and too many GIFS😩 I know that there are better ways to do this. Come on education.

My school has implemented SLANT and a rigorous behaviour policy. It’s a culture shock, but the difference is night and day. Suddenly quality teaching and high expectations are a pleasure, and not draining. Great stuff 👌
