@spencerideas Couldn’t agree more. I was just thinking the other day how in parenting you can feel elated joy & extreme sadness at the exact same time.

There is an aspect of parenting that I simply wasn’t prepared for - the way you grieve for the passing of time and the ephemeral nature of childhood while also embracing the moment and feeling proud of the young adults they are becoming. And how these moments come out of nowhere.

I saw Blockbuster as we were driving through Bend today. It might be the last in the US. At what point do we just call that place a museum?
