To be a Muganda is to be strong without being brutal, proud without being arrogant, and tenacious without being stubborn. Ekyo kye’kitiibwa kyaffe Abaganda . @BugandaKingdom_

🇳🇦 BREAKING: Namibia just paid off its entire IMF debt. Zero balance. $23.8 million repaid. No new loans. No new conditions. Freedom. While other nations drown in IMF austerity, Namibia walked out. No more structural adjustment. No more neoliberal lectures. No more foreign control over economic policy. This is what sovereignty looks like. Paying your debts. Refusing new ones. Charting your own path. Namibia is free. Other African nations should take notes. Question for the timeline: Which African country should be next to tell the IMF goodbye?

When the copyright fight gained momentum around 2010 several meetings happened at National theatre and Royal Theater of the Lt Kato Lubwama. Artists agreed they shouldnt allow people with CD cutting business to pirate their music esp those who had it as biz in majestic plaza and other places. That time, Some Key artists also came out and said they didnt have a problem having their music pirated. A few moments later we have a copyright law aimed to protect artists. Still not everyone is clapping. Moral of the story: Its hard for Creatives to think in unison and its ok. #NBSAfter5

The framers of the Sovereignty Bill should be called to shame and regarded as a disgrace to the nation.

To imagine that before the finger printing era, if you had influence you could get a passport without personally going to the Passport office. And there was a time when airports didn’t have security checks!

I know many things in the world are unfair. But how in the world does a 40min flight between Entebbe and Nairobi cost $400? When is a budget career coming in to disrupt this con?

The worst part of a society manipulated by politics is to see the poor defending the rich who are responsible for their poverty.

Bring back research in music journalism. Too many people are loud and uninformed, yapping without context, history, or facts. Knowledge should still matter.
