At last night's debate, Vice President Kamala Harris said she supports Israel's right to defend itself. Here are 10 ways she has “contributed” to Israel's self defense: 1. Her administration released $16,000,000,000 (billion) to Iran. Iran orchestrated October 7th and has threatened to wipe Israel off the map. Six of those Billions were released AFTER October 7th. 2. She tried sanctioning an IDF unit 3. She has sanctioned Israeli citizens in the midst of an existential war. She didn't sanction Palestinian terror supporters of which there are many in the US. This weakened Israeli deterrence and emboldened Hamas. 4. When running for president in 2020 she voted against outlawing BDS laws. 5. Literally paused weapons to Israel in the midst of the current war. Once again introducing daylight between Israel and the US and emboldening terror world wide 6. Called Rafah a red line and threatened Israel for entering it, despite it being a critical hideout for Hamas where they were keeping hostages. She is in many ways responsible for the current suffering of the hostages. 7. Passed an anti-Israel UN resolution pressuring Israel to an unwanted and detrimental ceasefire. 8. Her administration expressed anger at the fact that Israel killed Ismail Haniyeh, the leader of Hamas and the one that promised to commit endless October 7ths. 9. Her administration threatened Israel against escalating with Hezbollah and is responsible for the current displacement of 60,000 Israelis. 10. Harris claimed Israel was “starving” the Gazans despite that being a lie and downright blood libel that was recently even disproven by the historically biased UN. Adding more daylight and ruining the hostage negotiations in the process. As you can see Harris has been great for Israel's self defense. It beggars belief that the British government, a close strategic ally of Israel, has announced a partial suspension of arms licences, at a time when Israel is fighting a war for its very survival on seven fronts forced upon it on the 7th October, and at the very moment when six hostages murdered in cold blood by cruel terrorists were being buried by their families. As Israel faces down the threat of Iran and its proxies, not just to its own people, but to all of us in the democratic west; this announcement feeds the falsehood that Israel is in breach of International Humanitarian Law, when in fact it is going to extraordinary lengths to uphold it. Sadly, this announcement will serve to encourage our shared enemies. It will not help to secure the release of the remaining 101 hostages, nor contribute to the peaceful future we wish and pray for, for all people in the region and beyond. Britain and Israel have so much to gain by standing together against our common enemies for the sake of a safer world. Surely that must be the way forward.
