@JGaddyEMA @spann I work in a school that is at least 30 plus years old and we have 750 students; probably 30 with special needs. We do not have a safe room. We go to the nearest interior room for protection. There are only about 60 adults to keep all of those students safe. Ages 4-12.

This is the second house to fall into the Atlantic Ocean in Rodanthe, North Carolina today. A powerful storm system off the Outer Banks coast is sending big waves and a huge water rise to the beaches.
