Quick trip today in the pouring rain to check on our renovation work at @scenichillscc in Pensacola with Sports Contractors Unlimited. Fun fact: The 1969 US Women’s Open held here is still the only US Open hosted in the state of Florida in the history of the @USGA. 🤔

@GCIMagazineGuy IMO it’s self imposed pressure. Many see the glamour shots posted of other clubs and feel pressured to replicate those conditions. We hardly ever see the struggles many sups are fighting. Some want the title that comes with the high end job. And some of us chase quality of life.

There's loads of industry pressure for turf pros to chase high-paying jobs at big-budget courses. But the most fulfilled and creative people you meet in the golf industry often work at courses with modest budgets.
