Just sat down at the doctors office and this 75 year old man starting talking to me like I’d known him for years. He’s been stage 4 for the past 3 years, excited he’s gaining some weight and hoping all his kids and grandkids show up for his birthday July 29th. When his name got called he got up and said, “Have a great year, I don’t want to say have a good day because that’s too short but make this year great!” The nurse said, “How about have a great decade?” He said, “I don’t have a decade darlin.” I find people who are struggling the most show us how to appreciate life through their eyes in such a pure way, it brings tears to my eyes. I hope his kids show up for his birthday. If they saw the look on his face while he was talking about them and how much that’d mean to him there’s no way they wouldn’t make it work. 🤍

Unreal. Just passed this on way to Colleton. If this guy was hauling household goods, he was only required to carry $300,000.00 in insurance. Feel safe? I dont. Logging trucks only have to carry $750,000 of liability insurance. EB
