@ChrisPirillo I think the HUGE, legitimate concern is the ole EEE, embrace, extend and extinguish. The big fear on Lemmy right now is that Meta will use this proven playbook, as other big tech has in the past, to essentially take over the Fediverse.

It’s simple, just ignore the virtue signaling in 3DP, the greater community is growing tired of the small mob that does it weekly/daily.

@loyalmoses @FilamentFrenzy It seems every community gets this way eventually. I was VERY heavily involved in the EdTech community a few years ago. The exact same thing happened there. What was once a place of support and camaraderie devolved into a place for mocking and hate. It was sad.
