The Police are extremely underrated by both alt millennials and zoomers because their parents liked them and they are viewed as extremely ‘uncool’ (much of that having to do with Sting’s persona outside of the band not unlike Bono and U2) but they are one of the best bands ever

@SplatterRemains I learned to skate when I was 43. Advice- too many ppl who re pick it up start off trying to do the stuff they did when they were young and get hurt. So, If you do pick it up again start really slow and spend a long time developing your core before you try to do tricks

@boujzz @natemixing Thx. I appreciate the reply. I guess sometimes bands don’t do that it their performance. I’ve been lucky to have dynamic bass and drum players who give that lift in the transitions. I can see how an engineer could enhance that in the mix. Thx for thinking of that.

If you have 0 automation between verses and choruses, I’d consider it a mistake.
Songs are different but you have to add at least SOME movement.
