@jtc844 Honestly, I’d be more than happy with that. I really didn’t enjoy watching everyone around him treat him like a punching bag while he just stood there and took it.

But… why? I feel like this is the WORST possible time to give him that arc. Honestly, it would’ve worked way better in season two, right after he chose to believe in Charlie and it turned out that sinners actually can change and be good. But now? - Sinners did exactly what Lucifer always believed they do - ruin everything they touch. (Sinners = bad) - Vox literally started another uprising and declared war on Heaven. (Sinners = bad) - Vox captured and tortured that idiot. (Sinners = bad) - Angel Dust betrayed Charlie and talked shit about her. (Sinners = bad, including the ones Charlie sheltered) There has been literally NOTHING that would make him think better of sinners and EVERYTHING to make his opinion worse. And now those awful, disgusting sinners also know he can’t harm them, so he’ll have to deal with the consequences of that. I honestly have no idea what kind of FUNDAMENTAL shift would need to happen for him to actually change his mind about sinners in a way that feels… believable. Even if Lilith comes back and it turns out she really left because Lucifer doesn’t like sinners, he’d have every right to just gesture at everything around him and say, “Because sinners are awful, dear! They’ve literally done nothing good the entire time I’ve been around them and just kept rotting in their own corruption!”
