A year ago, I left my job at The Columbian after a decade in newspapers. I had no clue what I would do next, but for the past year, I’ve tried to “make it” as a freelance photographer. I’ve shot loads of sports, several senior portraits and I shoot my first wedding next week.

Some personal news; Lee Enterprises has eliminated the sports editor position at The Daily News in Longview out of "financial considerations." It was a pleasure to make newspapers for my hometown and tell the stories of so many amazing people. Thank you for reading along.

@LukeTScribe @YourESN It’s got to end eventually. It’s standard to allow the corner but if the initial corner was the one already allowed after stoppage time ended, why should the second be allowed as well? The laws say only penalties must be allowed.

@YourESN Ending a one-goal game on a corner for the trailing team is crazy.
