This administration is in their "boy who cried wolf" era. They've lied so thoroughly and often that even if everything they said was 100% truth from here on out, the only ones who will believe them are the ones who've believed all the lies so far.

This is less weird than it seems. Sure it could be initiated by bots or someone telling them what to day, but this is also the way algorithms and echo chambers work. They tell people what to say. Your algorithm is telling you what to say. The question is, will you think first.

Here is what I tend to notice – – the pastors who are most concerned with Christians being overly political because they are conservative are the same pastors whose feeds are almost nothing, but their negative thoughts about Trump. Whereas most of the politically conservative pastors I know rarely post about Trump. Funny that.

One of my biggest concerns is that Christians are being so radicalized with political and racial animosity that we’ll have no desire to be peacemakers moving forward.

Democrats don't really want a national ban on gerrymandering in large part because both Democrat and Republican data experts agree it would hurt the Democrats. It's a talking point. In California, their nonpartisan gerrymandering board was packed with Democrats, some of whom just claimed to be Republicans to get on the board.

Talking about the broader cultural impacts and concerns of labeling empathy as toxic is not misrepresenting the person who wrote “Toxic Empathy”.
Just because she doesn’t agree with those impacts, doesn’t mean that French isn’t rightly allowed to voice what he sees.
