@belllmonts I loved Buffalo Hunter until that last bit and the epilogue. Didn't ruin the book for me but it has stopped me from recommending it to a lot of people.

@Goldxn_Violin I still hate them but I now give them credit for being something new. Yeah there are a lot of nods and allusions to the original trilogy but they were nothing in comparison to what had come since.

I like Revenge of the Sith but the prequels are so dog ass overall and it drives me nuts that the consensus is that they’re masterpieces now

@mattyglesias Seasons 2 and 3 of Mandalorian didn't help either. The first season was perfect. Then the second season was a big commercial for all their new shows and I couldn't even tell you what happened in the third.

Ten years ago, it would have been inconceivable to me for the release of a new Star Wars feature film to be this little of a big deal. The Last Jedi / Rise of Skywalker fiasco destroyed a staggering amount of cultural and economic value.
