Certainly not the thousands of disappointed kids I saw at the game wearing his jersey who had expectations set. Many players played 30 mins. As the face of the league, he could've managed.

Consideration for who? The fans are telling you they don't want him to participate in that mickey mouse event.. So please what fans at you talking about.. What serious league put a pointless match in the middle of a serious competition, yet expects a 38 year old who's being playing all games for 2 months now to show up..

🚨I really don’t get all the fuss about Messi skipping the @MLS All-Star Game. The man is 38, hasn’t had any rest in the past two months, and there’s a packed schedule ahead with the Leagues Cup. This is literally his only break — and you expect him to show up for a Mickey Mouse exhibition game? If anything, the All-Star Game should be held at the start or end of the season, not in the middle of a brutal stretch.

@KXAN_News My dyslexic daughter has a much easier time reading cursive. Since the letters are connected, it gives her brain a natural flow, making them easier to understand. Books in cursive would be great, but don’t really seem to exist. Would be great to explore.

One of the most important skills I see in successful (and good) people is to constantly reevaluate assumptions. They make predictions based on various inputs, some of them unknown, and reevaluate based on what they got right and wrong. They trust people not because they're always right--no one is--but because if you're constantly seeking the truth it's easy to identify those who are doing the same. If you were confident that Donald J. Trump was going to lose, maybe you should question what else you "know" about him. Maybe the people who misled you about his electoral chances have misled you about other things. In the words of Cormac McCarthy, "If the rule you followed brought you to this, of what use was the rule?"

When using Minitest, I like that I can refactor tests using all the normal Ruby tools I know, rather than work in this weird DSL-land where none of the usual rules apply.

I prosecuted sexual assault cases in Texas. I prosecuted these cases for 17 years. I never prosecuted an undocumented immigrant for rape. I prosecuted multiple Christian pastors for rape. As a descendant of a holocaust survivor, I have to speak up against this hate.
