I am 51 and deeply regret not having kids.
I was stringently brainwashed into believing that I should never have children.
I’ve never even been pregnant as far as I know. I was on birth control from age 16 through age 49.

I feel so disgusted with the generational vibe that told us that having kids wasn’t a priority and that being a mom was kind of a lesser path. Dealing right now with someone close to me who completely missed the life she should have had, which would have made her very happy— as a mom of a bunch of kids. She believed the social justice messages and made other choices. Materialistic superficial choices btw. She’s traveled extensively and has fancy appliances and a nice (huge, empty) house — and a bunch of social justice bona fides. She was misled. This isn’t someone who was always a bit salty and never wanted kids. She wanted them, but it seemed lame and selfish and not as important as her SJW pursuits. (Which amounted to what? Nothing. The whole thing was a vibe.) I have the same life advice.

Just watched The Devil Wears Prada 2. Not quite as good as the original, but still a really fun movie. Stanley Tucci’s Nigel stole the show for me — he was the true heart of the film. Patrick Brammall (as Andy’s Aussie love interest) was hilarious and fantastic too. Great music, solid performances from Meryl & Anne, though the fashion didn’t wow me. Took me right back to my assistant days running around NYC in 2006. Nostalgic vibes!💫😊

I've had this conversation way too many times. It’s honestly disturbing that anyone would call the U.S. military an "occupying force." No country on Earth has done more for South Korea than the United States. Calling the brave troops who serve here occupiers is deeply disrespectful, unfair, and highly offensive. 같이 가요! 🇰🇷🇱🇷

I still will never forget the attack on U.S. Ambassador Mark Lippert. Incidents like this are also part of the reason many people in Korea choose to remain anonymous online when discussing politics and security issues. Violence against diplomats can never be justified for any reason, and I believe it should carry the most serious level of accountability.
What is even more concerning is that there are public movements openly campaigning for the release of the perpetrator of such a serious act of violence. Political violence should never be tolerated in any country, and violence against diplomats should carry especially severe consequences. Strong safeguards must be in place to protect all future diplomats going forward so that something like this never happens again.
