Funny how I post on Facebook asking if anyone fancies dropping me off at @TheChristieNHS tomorrow at 8:30 and all of the people who said “if you need anything just ask” have disappeared. Only one person has offered anything but can’t do it tomorrow unfortunately.

So after nearly four weeks i am out of Alicante hospital. I am wobbly but never has fresh air felt so good. Gosh I’ve had to dig deep as grief sits heavy Few days recovering and then hopefully back to UK #grief #pain #loss

@notthisending Yes ! Griefometor! This is so true. As bereaved mum Ive had this said so many times. I often feel like answering well I am allowed to shower, do my hair and put on a clean dress!

Someone I know: “You’re looking so much better!” Me: “Oh I’m sorry, just give me a second while I perfect my ‘griefy on the outside look’ so you can measure my distress and mental torment with your griefometer”

@ravensspirit68 How truly vile they both clearly lack any compassion.3 years in August since I lost my boy. Life is moment but moment . Self care priority don’t waste energy on MIL. There is never ever any getting over only deep sadness , sorrow and constant love xxx sending love to you

I heard my husband talking w/his mother on the phone. He uses speaker phone all the time. She asked how I was. He said I still seem upset about my daughter dying. She actually told him that I just need to 'bite the bullet & get back to normal.' My daughter died 10 1/2 weeks ago.

Tomorrow marks three years since losing my beloved brother. I'm incredibly grateful that my supportive employer @TeachFirst has given me a day of compassionate leave, recognising that grief isn't limited to the first couple of weeks after losing a loved one. #grief #bereavement

We are relieved to learn that Morad Tahbaz has stopped his hunger strike on day 9. This is one less stress for his family, but the urgency remains for @trussliz & @BorisJohnson to act and ensure Morad’s release. They must stand by their word. #FreeMorad
