Freaky Friday?! 🫣
Earlier this week at ‘A King's Trust Celebration’, The King and Queen traded places with @AntAndDec for a moment on stage to celebrate the charity’s 50th anniversary.
His Majesty began the charity, as Prince of Wales, in 1976 with the aim of improving the lives of disadvantaged young people in the UK. Since then, The @KingsTrust has supported over 1.3 million young people across the UK – and even more across the world with @KingsTrustInt.
Ant and Dec have supported The Trust for 25 years, partnering with the charity to help the next generation develop skills for the media industry and find jobs and training opportunities.

On 14 May, The Princess of Wales continued her visit to Reggio Emilia.
HRH visited Salvador Allende Nursery School, @remidareggioemilia Recycling Centre, and took part in the preparation of tortelli, witnessing the passing down of traditions across generations.

This week, The Duke of Edinburgh attended the Kirking of the Scottish Parliament.
🕯️ The evening before the start of a new session of Parliament, a multi-faith service takes place at St Giles’ Cathedral in Edinburgh. Kirking is a Scots word meaning ‘going to church’.
The Kirking is adapted from a Christian ceremony performed in the Parliament of Scotland in the Middle Ages, and was restarted as a multi-faith service when the new Scottish Parliament was established in 1999.

Thinking about the Princess of Wales trip to Italy and so much came to my mind. One she looks so good and it’s great to see her traveling again.
I also thought about her clothing. She only wore one outfit each day, making sure the focus stayed on her engagements, not on what she was changing into. She’s so proud and serious about the early years. She made sure every single aspect of these two days were focused around children.
I think both the Princess of Wales and her team should take a bow for two wonderful days, that was a complete success. Not only because of the welcome they received in Italy, but because of how much work and research was put into this to bring that years, focus globally.
Catherine has such a kind soul and it shows more and more every time I see her. This isn’t PR for her, this is leaving a legacy that can change the future for children in time.
I’ve noticed also that during these overseas trips, the UK Media don’t seem very relevant. The horticulturist himself was put in the back, exactly where he belonged.
I think it’s also time to acknowledge that this comparison of that other woman and Catherine needs to end. There is no comparison. Catherine is the future of the monarchy and setting up her legacy.
I look forward to the next engagement for the Princess of Wales. Hopefully she gets some rest because she most definitely deserves it.
