Bala Bello: I’ll work closely with Tinubu to advance political, economic reforms Bala Bello, special adviser to the president on political economy, says his new role will enable him to work closely with President Bola Tinubu on the administration’s reform agenda. On Wednesday, Tinubu approved the nomination of Lamido Abubakar Yuguda as deputy governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) to replace Bello. In a statement on Saturday, Bello expressed gratitude to Tinubu for the opportunity to serve in the administration. thecable.ng/bala-bello-ill…

REMEMBER, UNITE, RENEW - THE FLIGHT OF A NATION “Let us build a stronger Rwanda together.” These words, spoken by Dr. Charles Mugisha, Founder and President of Africa New Life Ministries, powerfully capture the spirit and resilience that define Rwanda today. His message echoes the national ethos and our guiding slogan: Remember, Unite, Renew. Building a stronger Rwanda has never been easy, and it never will be. But our collective experience teaches us that it is not only possible - it is the only meaningful path forward. As a nation, we remember the tragedy of the 1994 Genocide Against the Tutsi, not as a burden to carry, but as a solemn commitment that such evil must never happen again. We choose unity, because genocide is born of division, and unity is its greatest antidote. And we renew, consistently and courageously, because our future demands it. We choose to live, to thrive, and to inspire Africa in its wider fight against poverty and injustice. Herein lies Rwanda’s vision and resilience: a people smiling towards a promising future while courageously elbowing aside a painful and disappointing past. Our motivation is not abstract. It is rooted in the lived experience of rising from the ashes, of growing through pain, and of reaping the fruits of a just struggle. As @CBMugisha leads spiritual warriors from the hill of @newliferwanda, President #Kagame continues to steer the national battle against poverty, injustice, and the suppression of human dignity. Together, their leadership embodies Rwanda’s fight for purpose, dignity, and transformation. For thirty-one years, #Rwanda has not faltered in its mission. Any setbacks encountered along the way have only served to refine our focus and strengthen our resolve. From the depths of unimaginable tragedy, we have emerged, ready not just to walk, but to fly like an eagle toward the vision of 2050. Remember, Unite, Renew - Rwanda.
