It doesn’t have to be asked of him to do that every game but when you know you are 2 starters down, one being the main scorer, he should want to take a more scoring role in order to win.

If he’s scoring more the impact on the other side is not there he’s top 10 in minutes and now he’s being tasked with covering for the defense and scoring buckets without people giving him easier chances. That’s worse for him

@juhmal_ @JLew1050 I agree that he should be more aggressive, but that plays into what I said about coaching. When was the last time you’ve seen a play drawn up for Scottie Barnes to get a easy bucket? It’s also on the coaches to put their best players in position to score.

Scottie Barnes in the back-to-back: 22 assists but just 19 points on 7-22 FG, 0-5 3P, 5-12 FT Darko: “He has a lot on his plate. He’s trying to playmake but we also need him to score. It’s finding that balance.”
