Happy to finally get my $QUBIC proposal passed It took a little bargaining but eventually it came in at 2 billion $QUBIC for 25 videos and 1 documentary I'm looking forward to delivering this content and man it is so cool to be part of a network where you can submit your ideas and receive funding The only feedback I have for the $QUBIC ecosystem and Quorum as a whole is this: I already received the 2 billion $QUBIC 😅 Which is great for me!!! But not great business in general I think... At the moment, the set-up is that the Quorum votes on a proposal Once it is accepted, a smart contract executes that sends the $QUBIC to the address of the proposer I plan to deliver this content and I'm motivated to do it But jeez... if I was a scammer... I could just run off with this 2 billion And even if a person is genuine, surely up front payment kills motivation In the future, it would be great if a proposal form was created that everyone has to apply through and a better smart contract process to prevent people gaming the system I'm guessing there are many stories in the past where people have failed to deliver on their proposal but still got the money Anyway, I'm super excited and will deliver the content as promised! And I think it is really great that this sort of governance and funding exists It is just another element that makes $QUBIC so unique and powerful compared to most other networks out there
