For weeks now I've felt drained. It's not just the usual tiredness from caring for a poorly husband, it's far more than that. It's like I'm losing the will, mainly because I'm no longer sure what we're fighting for? What's going to happen next? Anyone? 🤔

I’m so sorry to hear about your sister, Jules , I know how much you cared for, & looked after her. I’m sure that she is at peace now and looking down on you knowing you always did your best. Reading ‘Gentle Regrets’ written by the late Sir Roger Scruton, reminds me of our mutual love of dogs & my childhood spent in Malmesbury, where I developed a fondness for Malmesbury Abbey, which is one of Englands oldest Christian foundations, with origins in the 7th century.
