I've finished Ghost of Yōtei on the PS5 Pro. Here are my spoiler-free thoughts: ⚔️ Gameplay is incredible. It's somehow even more fluid feeling than Tsushima & the new weapons & mechanics are all a ton of fun to use. Boss fights are varied, memorable & genuinely difficult where they should be. 📖 The story is nothing groundbreaking or new, but it is very well presented with emotional moments that manage to hit deep. ✨ Gorgeous visuals - a noticeable step up from Tsushima, but not a 'leap' from the Director's Cut. Character models in cinematics are particularly impressive though, and the open-world environments are beautiful. 📸 Photo mode features are top-tier. 💠 Side content is better than Tsushima's. It's more varied, so it feels less checklisty and more naturally integrated into the world. ⚡️ Performance is very stable in the quality mode. Experienced occasional framerate drops in the 60fps modes which should be addressed by launch. ⏱️ Completed the story & about 40% of the side content in 30 hours. Ghost of Yōtei is undeniably a phenomenal game with a satisfying combat loop that leaves you wanting more & clearly sets it apart from its predecessor. Legends can't come soon enough! Whether you're new to the franchise or a returning player, Yōtei awaits you on PS5 from October 2nd. Congratulations to @SuckerPunchProd on another fantastic release; it's clear a lot of care went into this! Overall: 9/10. If you liked Tsushima, you'll love Yōtei. Also, team cherry, the devs are supposed to give every backer a free code for the game meaning they'd have to reach out beforehand to ask of the preferred device. I would say though that it could get dropped later this week, let's hope

2024 vs 2025 Silksong situation. I think Geoff Keighley knows exactly what he’s doing, and since Deadpool already teased us at Summer Game Fest, I strongly believe we’ll finally get a Silksong release date tomorrow.
