@julessteppy There is not space for two lanes of traffic to filter into the contraflow.

Due to strong winds, there are speed restrictions and a closure of lanes 1 and 3 on the #A282 #QEIIBridge southbound at #DartfordCrossing. As a result there is an hour delay on approach on the #M25 clockwise. Please allow extra journey time this afternoon.

The #A282 #QEIIBridge southbound at #DartfordCrossing remains closed due to strong winds. CCTV below shows southbound traffic entering the eastbore tunnel via a contraflow. Traffic is merging into 1 lane so it will take time for you to get moving. There are severe delays.

The #A282 #QEIIBridge southbound at #DartfordCrossing is now CLOSED due to excessively strong winds. The eastbore tunnel will shortly be utilised for southbound traffic. We will get you moving again as soon we can. There's now a 2 hour delay on approach to the crossing.

@SwanleyGroup There are a lot of tradesmen in this town are they going to be allowed to rent/ buy Other developments nearby have blocked work vans. Is that the case here if not where they going to park.
