A big update has come out from the 31 ex Rockstar Games devs who were fired in late October for gross misconduct: (Source: People Make Games): ▫️The hearing was only an interim application to resume pay, and the judge did not read the full evidence bundle, which runs to over 2,000 pages. ▫️Rockstar argued it dismissed only a small number of employees from the union Discord and said those individuals were involved in misconduct. ▫️The company claimed some Discord messages were sent during working hours, which it said gave Rockstar the right to access and review them. ▫️Rockstar presented examples of employees insulting management in the Discord, including phrases such as “cowardly corporate fuck,” “get fucked,” and calling a manager a “cunt.” ▫️Two of the dismissed employees were accused of leaking a supposedly “top secret” and unannounced GTA VI feature in the union Discord: 32-player multiplayer sessions ▫️The employees said this information emerged because the QA team had booked time off, leaving Rockstar unable to gather 32 people for a test session. ▫️One dismissed employee had only a single message in the Discord, responding to a question about crunch: “Nothing that I’ve heard in North QA! Will keep you updated if that changes ofc.” ▫️The employees’ lawyer, Lord Henry, argued that Rockstar breached its own internal guidelines when investigating the alleged misconduct. He also said UK common law requires “wilful behaviour” to justify dismissal for gross misconduct. ▫️Lord Henry argued that after Rockstar obtained access to the Discord from one employee to investigate specific messages, the company unlawfully accessed years of union-related discussions. ▫️Rockstar claimed a journalist was present in the Discord, this was Scott Alsworth, a former Bohemia Interactive designer and the elected IWGB Game Workers press officer. Alsworth wrote six articles for the British publication Morning Star, some of which referenced GTA VI. ▫️Rockstar also noted that at least 10 former employees remained in the Discord after leaving the company.

@saiyambansal100 DLSS 4.5 is horrible. 102 fps with DLAA 4 Quality in GTA 5 , 50fps with DLAA 4.5... same with RDR2, goes from 92fps to 62fps. not worth it.

You can now enable DLSS 4.5 to both GTA V Enhanced and Red Dead Redemption 2 further improving image quality.

To all those who say driving sucks, they don’t understand a shit. The game was supposed to be realistic, it’s like saying the horse system in RDR2 sucks and that the RDR1 one was better. To be honest, GTA V’s driving is the worst in the series. I would have accepted a mix between it and realism, but they made it too arcade. I hope GTA VI will have a realistic driving system.
