@SimonClarkeMP So MPs get inflation proof increases, awarded to themselves, by themselves and the rest of us have to fight inflation and suck it up. That's +£19k since 2010. You are the definition of a hypocrite. #inflation time for a big change.

We are taking a responsible stance on public sector pay to limit the risk of inflation becoming both more severe and lasting longer than it needs to. Labour have absolutely no answers (or rather won’t tell us what they would really do, which is unleash a wage-price spiral).
