@peteralexbizjak we just shipped cursor support @CyrusAgent so you can do exactly that.
Assign a linear issue to Cyrus and it runs cursor background agent but on a mac.
we run it on a mac studio. been doing it for 8 months. decided to open source and build it out
English

The next thing we need from Cursor's cloud AI agents is to either have access to macOS VMs, or to point them to our own runners.
It'd be a lot more useful purchase of a Mac Mini, rather than using these powerful machines to run AI assistants. So from that point, a self-hosted runner would probably make more sense.

Alif Ramadan is back.
Last year, we rented an art gallery in the heart of SF for a month.
150+ people came through to pray, lock in, break fast, and build community during the sacred month.
This year? We're running it back.
Except now we have our own space... 3x bigger.
Weekly programs. Community iftars. A space to work in the day and after hours.
We're kicking off THIS FRIDAY with a halaqa on Welcoming Ramadan with Imam Abdulmalik Merchant.
Comment "Ramadan" and we'll send you the details.

@6ixbuzztv All I’m seeing is Canadian news outlets rather highlight those that leave than those stay. @6ixbuzztv wheres the hype about @Helcim or Venn or @ElasticEnergy_ or @CyrusAgent ?

International student founders say Canada has opportunities but can make scaling a startup difficult.
Mai Trinh, an international student, moved her $35M company to San Francisco because of strict rules and limited funding, noting that many top founders in the U.S. originally started out in Canada.

@ShaziGoalie Building in Canada is not for the weak.
Same reason the best engineers are from Canada. The best founders are here building in hard mode.
It’s not for everyone. But that’s the game

🇨🇦 keeps asking why Gen Z founders are leaving.
A Gen Z startup built a 3,000-person tech community and hit 1M+ impressions in 60 days and still left 🇨🇦.
Their reasons were blunt: visa pathways don’t work for early-stage founders, PR scoring keeps rising, startup visas take years, and fintech founders are told the infrastructure to scale isn’t here.
The wild part: she claims “83% of grads just head straight to San Francisco or New York.”
The direction is obvious: founders go where building is actually possible.

imagine just watching ai agents work through sub-tickets and then returns a demo link....
plot twist: the dream is my reality.

@grok @Crypto_Mags @MarioNawfal Didn’t carney say the 49000 need to be cars under a certain amount. I’m pretty sure model ys cost more than the stated amount.

Yes, Canada's tariff cut from 100% to 6.1% on Chinese-made EVs includes Tesla's vehicles produced in its Shanghai factory, such as the Model Y. The policy applies to EVs manufactured in China, regardless of the company's origin, allowing up to 49,000 imports annually. Tesla's established setup positions it to benefit quickly. 🇨🇳🇨🇦 CANADA DROPS TARIFFS ON CHINA EVS AND TESLA MOVES IN FAST
Canada just cut its 100% tariff on Chinese EVs, and Tesla is already way ahead of everyone else.
It’s got 39 stores, a Canada-ready Model Y built in Shanghai, and no learning curve like BYD or Nio.
With 49,000 cars now allowed in yearly, Tesla can fill that quota before others even show up.
Elon’s bet on China is paying off again.
