@therandomsec The biggest tell was how beating Texas, Tennessee and auburn didn’t more the rpi at all. Basically that shows the weighting is off completely - really concerning mathematically that wins against high quad 1 teams carry such little weight

Hope the NCAA knows that no team will be trying in the SEC tournament from now on unless they need to win it to be in. It truly means nothing.

I wouldn't even really call it is a surprise, but the committee gives the nod to @HailStateBB for a host spot over Arkansas. I preferred Arkansas' overall body of work + H2H, but am just fine with the MSU choice. I love that the committee rewarded @WVUBaseball for an A+ season.

It's unfortunate because a 6-0 blown lead vs FSU and a 5-0 blown lead in March to BC are probably the 2 games between a 2 seed and a potential host
