Unrelated, but Nigeria needs a surgery gallery where we would display the surgeries we do to enlighten the national on how gifted we are..!
This particular guy did this surgery in India, this particular surgery would take a Senior registrar in Maxillofacial surgery in UNTH nothing less than 5 hours to fix I swear to God..! Not to talk of a consultant or a professor..! So why the stress running abroad..? This is even a benign growth and it’s not even an emergency to begin with.
That was how they wasted money flying baddie of LASU to Egypt to fix common Bilateral Genu varum, if they have done that surgery in UNTH they would have enough change for post op and even have a lot of change left. A lot of change oooo..!

Fun fact: Minoxidil was originally developed to treat stomach ulcers. Yep, you read that right. It was developed to treat and cure stomach ulcers, but testing showed no success. They discovered it could open blood vessels and improve blood flow instead, so they F*ed around and tried it as a treatment for hypertension.
While being used as an oral medication, hair growth emerged as an unexpected side effect. Patients reported it to doctors, and scientists F*ed around with it again. They repurposed it for a topical hair growth treatment, tested it, and found it worked well with fewer systemic side effects.
The exact way minoxidil stimulates hair follicles isn’t 100% clear even today. It is one of the most successful accidental discoveries in medicine.

When we say women are doing unpaid labour and unappreciated labour, people like you will call us mad women. In many homes, women cook, clean, take care of the children, drive the children to school, do market runs, help the children with their homework etc. All of these things are actual jobs worked by actual people. Now imagine you had to pay for all of these things. You would be paying a chef, a housekeeper, a driver and a private tutor. You would be paying FOUR different professionals heavily for something that you claim is nothing and costs nothing. Women work hard. Women have always worked hard. The issue is that this labour goes unpaid and unappreciated. And women like you are one of the reasons why it is so.

This is first-degree murder, by the way. I wouldn’t be surprised if they charge him with accidental discharge. It’s crazy how they can just take a life because they think they’re unquestionable. If we don’t hold them accountable now, when will we? This man should be charged with first-degree murder, and it should be televised (the court case and his sentencing).
