Years ago, my parish visited inmates at Kirikiri Prison. The prison chaplain told us a story of how inmates who were released after decades could not eat the good food bought for them due to being used to the horrible prison food for a long time. I understand her predicament.

My flatmate Chuka fell in love with a Scottish woman who thought jollof rice was a person.
