Has there ever been a manager to make the jump from MLS to Europe with a preseason to work with players, implement tactics, etc.?

@Jay3130Jay which level would you say Jefferson Park is? I think it's level 1 but is creeping towards 2 very soon.

@Camp4 Can a “reinvention” ever be described as running away from responsibilities?

Most guys can relate to this. But you can do both. There are seasons to life and it’s good to reinvent yourself every 10 years. The problem is most people don’t have the courage to do it, so they stay in one season forever.

@westhamnetwork Since we need to take 3 pts. against Burnley anyway, a Leeds-Forest draw is best. If we win, it keeps 2 teams within 4 points, nearly doubling our chances of catching one of them. If not a draw, I'd say a Forest win is a better result as we play Leeds on the final day

@TimKellyGK @MLSist So it was the athletic culture at schools. For some reason, soccer caught on at the school level in St Louis. Got it

@just_wasik @MLSist It was all the Catholic grade schools that all had soccer teams. All those catholic grade schools were feeders for the high schools. Which leads into a whole other topic of the St. Louis question “ where did you go to high school”.

If you spend any time at all in St. Louis, it becomes so apparent so quickly why soccer exploded here in the early 20th century and why it’s still a fundamental part of the city’s identity. It’s something you can say for so few places in this country. Respect.
