#polmtl #polqc

How many times do I have to explain to you crazy Mongolian turkeys that the Mongolian Sea does not exist, and it is not on the map, it is only in your heads. This is the only Greek sea, do not steal foreign territory again 😂🤣😂😂🤣😂😂🤣😂🤦‍♀
Turkish Century@TurkishCentury

💪 Türkiye will set the record straight with the #EEZ maritime delimitation in the #Aegean & East #Mediterranean before 2030! One less problem for the future generations to deal with. 🇹🇷

The Lek, introduced in 1926 as Albania’s first national currency, was more than a fiscal instrument, it was a symbolic assertion of historical continuity. Named after Alexander the Great, known as Leka i Madh in Albanian, the currency evoked not only antiquity but a national mythology that positioned Albania as the true heir to his legacy. The first coins bore Alexander’s image and depicted him on horseback, thereby linking the new Albanian state to a classical past characterized by sovereignty, heroism, and regional leadership. This association was deeply rooted in Albanian historical consciousness. Early nationalist thinkers and foreign observers alike frequently interpreted the figure of Alexander not as a Hellenic symbol per se, but as a Pelasgian-Macedonian hero whose memory was best preserved by the Albanians. One of the most explicit articulations of this view comes from Georges Verdene, who in his 1905 publication La vérité sur la question macédonienne, affirms that “the Albanians are incontestably the descendants of the ancient Macedonians of Philip and Alexander the Great.” He further asserts that the region historically known as Macedonia had, through successive transformations, ceased to exist as a separate entity and had effectively become Albania, just as Gaul had become France (“La Macédoine a cessé d’exister pour devenir l’Albanie”). According to Verdene, the Albanian people occupy territories historically tied to the Macedonian kingdom, including the vilayets of Scutari, Yanina, Kosovo, Monastir, and Salonika, and resist any attempt to dismember what he terms their ancestral homeland. In this framework, the legacy of Alexander is not an abstract claim, but an ethnocultural and territorial inheritance actively defended by the Albanians. This tradition was later reinforced by the heroic figure of Scanderbeg, often portrayed as the medieval reincarnation of Alexander, a symbol of unbroken resistance from antiquity to modernity. The communist regime’s ideological reforms after 1947, however, disrupted this historical continuity. The replacement of the Lek’s classical iconography with symbols conforming to an exclusively Illyrian narrative represented a deliberate effort to reframe Albanian identity in Marxist-Leninist terms. This not only marginalized broader regional legacies but also severed the symbolic and cultural lineage that connected Albanians to one of the most iconic figures of world history. As Winston Churchill aptly warned, “A nation that forgets its past has no future.” Revisiting and critically re-evaluating these historiographical ruptures is essential for restoring a balanced understanding of Albania’s complex cultural and historical inheritance, one in which Alexander the Great is not a foreign figure, but an ancestral emblem. #history #albania #alexanderthegreat

Greece is believed to have enough strategic ammunition to last 5 days in a war with Türkiye. For Türkiye, this would last a year...

@Pachomiou Turkey only invaded after your pathetic junta’s coup tried to ram Enosis down everyone’s throat and annex the island for Greece. It halted the ongoing massacres of Turkish Cypriots, froze the front lines, and ended the slaughter.

It’s time to correct a common misconception: The "Cyprus Problem" isn't a simple communal dispute. It is a clear-cut case of illegal invasion and foreign occupation by #Turkiye Blocking EU accession talks isn't enough. We need severe sanctions that target the Turkish economy until Erdogan realises the cost of occupation is too high to bear. The international community and the @EU_Commission @vonderleyen must stop looking away. #Cyprus #FreeCyprus #SanctionTurkey #EndTheOccupation #EuropeanUnion
