GTAForums user who debunked the Best Buy pre orders as fake now says GTA 6 Trailer 3 will release next Tuesday with a potential announcement tomorrow.

Strauss Zelnick has hinted that we're still at least weeks away from Rockstar ramping up GTA 6 marketing. In fairness, he did say in February that it would begin in the summer. I guess he REALLY meant it.

The Best Buy pre-orders debacle took a lot of attention away from tomorrow. I understand that a lot of you are feeling quite pessimistic about GTA 6 right now (understandably so), but there’s actually quite a strong case for Trailer 3. — It’s exactly 6 months before launch. — It’s the final Tuesday before Take-Two’s earnings call. — Rockstar still has Trailer 2 pinned to their social media, which still displays May 26th — the launch date prior to the delay. They might want to update this to reflect the actual release date of November 19th. As always, nothing is guaranteed. I do think that it’s worth keeping an eye on though, and I personally will be keeping heavy tabs on Rockstar’s activity tomorrow.

Normally these random Reddit posts turn out to be entirely BS. However, in the past, some legit trailer leaks have been posted. Remember “u/Well_Look_Whose_Back” who leaked information about Trailer 1? In this case, you should totally operate on the assumption that it’s completely made up. In no world should you assume that this will actually be Trailer 3’s song. That’s incredibly silly and you’re just setting yourself up for disappointment. BUT… there are some contextual details which makes this particular post interesting. Nothing more than that, just interesting. — The user has 1.4M Reddit karma. It’s not a throwaway account. — Their post history is entirely about music, suggesting that they may be in the industry. — They have never posted about gaming or mentioned GTA before, and in fact they claim to not even be a fan of the game. — The song itself is highly relevant to GTA 6. Rockstar’s choice of music so far (Love is a Long Road & Hot Together) both lyrically match the game’s narrative. This is definitely the case here. Again, you should NOT assume that this will be the Trailer 3 song. At the end of the day, this is just another random Redditor, and you should absolutely not take it with much confidence. HOWEVER, the context behind this post is at least quite peculiar, so I figured that I should share it and lay out the facts with you all.

Rumor: GTA 6 Trailer 3’s song is The Rolling Stones Doo Doo Doo Doo (Heartbreaker). The song fits the story and Rockstar’s style so it’s plausible. This rumor comes from an account in the music industry claiming they found out by accident. (Source: gtaforums.com/topic/1005992-…)

Gta 6 still comes out November 19, regardless of today. So go out with your friends, drink some quality beers, go to the gym, get laid. We will all soon play this.

We will know for certain in 2 hours, but everything points to no pre-orders today. That being said, there's still nothing to suggest we couldn't see any news from Rockstar at some point this week before Thursday's earnings call.
