True story, I once had an infection on my foot that required hospitalization. The nurses who took care of me were all Nigerian immigrant women, and they were the sweetest souls I've ever met. Immigrants are not the problem with America, billionaires who don't pay taxes are.

@WilliamShatner Twenty-five years ago, my wife was alive, and dying. Medicaid Spenddown had to be paid to get her medications. So we chose Food or Medications pretty often. She'd wake up, pour a glass of vodka and watch VHS tapes. I'd write story to sell and wait for the inevitable.

@WilliamShatner In the 80's, you could start downloading a program cause you had to do that each time you used it, and you could cook an entire dinner and watch a VHS movie by the time the download was done. And yet, desktop computers took off in popularity!

@WilliamShatner Twenty-five years ago, I was buying DVD's and VHS was still sold! Now a VHS player costs about $300 and you can get a DVD player for $30! BluRay is about the same. I set up a movie studio in my bedroom and I can produce something for about 35 cents. Upload to YouTube.
