Director of Hamnet movie, Chloé Zhao, is raising money for animal rescue volunteers in Kharkiv.

Chloé Zhao is inviting people to join her for a virtual cup of tea to support the organization Animal Rescue Kharkiv, which evacuates animals and saves their lives. Anyone who wants to talk with her can participate in an auction. The highest bidder will get a one-hour Zoom conversation. The auction has already started and will run until March 28. Bids can be placed online, and all proceeds will go toward supporting the volunteer organization.
Animal Rescue Kharkiv was founded in 2016. Initially, volunteers rescued animals only from Kharkiv and nearby areas, but after the start of the full-scale invasion, they expanded their efforts to evacuate animals from regions like Donetsk and Sumy. Volunteers also traveled to Kherson during the flooding caused by the Kakhovka Hydroelectric Power Plant disaster, responding to requests from local residents and the military.

Ukraine bid farewell to Senior Sergeant Artem Taran. His partner, a German Shepherd named Yorna, stayed by his casket, whimpering her goodbye.
Artem was only 26 years old. He was killed on March 11 near Nikopol by an FPV drone strike.
