She will be undergoing a surgery very soon. Kindly pray for her.

According to our Shastras, before taking birth, the journey of our soul or Aatman in this life is pre- destined.
Accordingly, the planetary positions determine our Rashi and Nakshatra that we will be taking birth in. The Rashi and Nakshatra, all planetary positions are in such a way that they align with our karma, that is the way our soul has chosen to burn its bad karma, in order to progress spiritually.
Every soul desires progress in the 'Paraloka' or spirit world. Hence, a soul always choses the path that will lead to its progress, as soon as possible, because the time is very slow in the Paraloka as compared to Prithvi (earth).
The more Punya or good karma a soul has done, that soul progresses to a higher level or realm in the Paraloka, whereas those souls who have committed a lot of bad karmas or 'Paap' have to remain in the lower realms of the Paraloka until they burn all their bad karmas.
We chose our path in life, we choose the gender in which we will be born, we choose our mother. Our soul already knows before taking birth, that how much it will go through, what situations and people it will meet, how much it will suffer and how many years it will live on Prithvi. Some Punyavaan souls choose a difficult path of their life, so that their bad karmas get burnt faster, and they progress as a soul in the minimum time frame possible.
We always choose our mother in the life we take birth in, as a soul. Punyavaan souls choose a Punyavaan mother and a family environment where their good karmas will increase, and bad karmas will get burnt as fast as possible. Similarly, Paapkarmi souls who have a lot of 'Vaasanas' or unfulfilled desires, lust etc still in them, choose such a mother and family wherein they get to enjoy and fulfill their worldly desires, even if it makes them commit more bad karmas instead of good karmas.
Everything is chosen by our soul, nothing is out of chance. Every person we meet, every situation we go through, every high and low in our life is pre- destined by our soul, to make progress, to go ahead and realize Bhagwan. The more we suffer, or go through difficulties in this life, the faster our bad karmas get burnt, our soul gets purified and progresses spiritually.
