This of the most obvious and dramatic representations of the amount of capital that's being mobilized toward climate! If I'm an entrepreneur looking for a secular tailwind, where at a bipartisan level the government is looking to get behind a particular sector of our economy, look no further than climate tech. This is unprecedented. I thought this chart from @theatlantic did a great job of capturing the momentum behind this space.

As @Segment grew from 0 to >$200M ARR, I had three health scares. Each scare made me realize that good physical health is *required* to push hard and win as a founder, and you have to own your own healthcare. The medical system simply won’t do it for you. /1

1/ Every year, I sit down for a day to complete my annual review. Years ago, my question template was short. It contained forward-looking, ten-thousand foot view questions. In recent years, I've learned from others and adopted a new template that I recommend to everyone.

In 2016, when Trump won MI, PA and WI by 77, 000 votes, it was part of his "landslide" victory. In 2020, when Biden won MI, PA and WI by 255,000 votes, and won the popular vote by 6 million, it was "voter fraud."  We will not allow Trump to destroy American democracy.
